IB DP in Nazareth High School

The purpose of our high school is to prepare  15-19 year old girls for university and college. Education lasts four years
during which students participate in two programmes. The first one consists of two years of preIB curriculum supporting
students in mastering their English language literacy as well as helping to familiarize them with the demands of
academic writing and research methodology. The key focus, however, is put on developing students’ skills expressed in the IB Learner profile.

‘internationally minded people, who recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help a better and more peaceful world’

The last two years of high school cover the IB programme, described in detail in THE DIPLOMA PROGRAM

What makes us different from other IB schools?

  • We are the only IB school in Warsaw offering boarding house accommodation for high school students. Our dormitory is located in the western wing of our monumental school building, designed and built in the interwar period (1926).
  • Despite a century-long tradition, our school keeps in mind the current needs of teenagers, offering education in one of the most modern schools in Poland in terms of equipment. Every class has an interactive screen to make the learning experience more engaging for students.
  • We have a team of dedicated, experienced teachers who are also examiners in the IB DP programme. Thanks to them our students achieve outstanding exam results and study at prestigious universities in Poland and abroad e.g. University of Warsaw, Medical University in Warsaw, Medical University in Łódź, Warsaw School of Economics, Technical University of Warsaw, Cambridge University, Oxford University, University of St. Andrews, University of Edinburgh, University of Nottingham, Loughborough University, University of Bristol, University of London, University of Wisconsin, Polimoda in Florence, University of Essex, University of Stirling, London University of the Arts, Queen Mary University of London, University of Birmingham.
